Cawtar a national Coordinator for GMMP project  On 10 November 2009, the world
news media came under scrutiny during the 4th Global Media Monitoring
Project (GMMP). The GMMP brought together volunteers from women's rights
organizations, media associations, academia, etc. in a one-day global
research on gender in their local news media. Research results are
applied
as a tool for change towards gender equality in and through media. The
global, regional and national reports for the 4th GMMP will be published
in September, 2010.The Center of Arab Women for Training and Research CAWTAR participated in this global media initiative as a national Coordinator for Tunisia Attached please find the preliminary report and the highlights of preliminary findings
